Henri's Green Tours

Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards                          Sören Kierkegaard

Making a trip of several hundred miles requires organization and a personal challenge. We can all travel in an ecological way without discrimination of gender, age or physical condition. Traveling "green" is not only about saving polluting energy, it is also about seeing nature and people more closely. What you see on a bike is different from what you see when you travel on foot or by car. I am not a good biker... it's all about being prepared, organized and taking the challenge. My average speed on a trail is 17 km/hour... that's not a lot, but enough to cover 100 km in 6 hours, and you have plenty of time to visit, to enjoy places and people before reaching your stage.

                                                             Ernest Renan

Survive in a sustainable civilization is no longer a question, it's a must! According to Jeremy Rifkin, it's time to implement the solutions that we developed all over the world. Waiting for decisions from our political and economical leaders is not enough, if they could decide to change our way of living, it should already be done.

Make it the "Desirable Sustainable Development" way! Unlike environmental movements, it's primarily a personal approach. It starts with education and a vision for our children. Like communism and capitalism, forcing people to live in a undesired way will lead to frustrations. Frustration is a bad teacher and will probably lead to the opposite results: freeze evolution, generate revolutions and enlarge gaps between peoples.

A civilization based on Desirable Sustainable Development will open ways to generosity, rebuild co-development and qualitative growth, the only positive growth for humanity and our planet.
